New forum design [ Edited ]

New design is ugly, sorry. Way too much bright background and lack colors. Especially the gray color in post icons/buttons is unpleasant and looks sad. The non-black text color lacks contrast and affects readability. Is it supposed to mimic horrible Windows 10 UX design to get people prepared to ?

I miss the typical Lenovo red color.

Keeping the red-and-gray post theme might actually look better with the new front-page colors. I agree that it's bright, but it looks pretty nice.

We are building a list of changes and will be working on "tuning" over the next couple of weeks - appreciate your feedback and patience!

The formatting is off and to the left, and I agree there is a lot of grey.  I miss the red buttons and would like to see a bit more color in the UI for actions.

What color would you like the buttons - red, orange, green?   Drawing from the new Lenovo branding palet.   

There is a lot of blue and orange in the design now, so I'm personally tending toward red...

Red would look nice; it would give more variety.

Also, is it just me, or is the new design causing everything to load more slowly?

Tues / Wed  were bad performance days - I think we have found and fixed the problems.

I think performance is much better yesterday and today.

Looks like another design change made it even worse than before Why are there those big fonts used for Posts / Registered / Location / etc fields below nicknames ?

Yes, we tried several things to make it easier to read the text here, darkening the grey and blues.

There are more changes that have been held in staging and unexpectedly some changes to fonts and gradients made it through.  We backed those out, and then reapplied just the next colores.

We have made some other tweaks on the mobile version to fix font size there and ensure white on blue text on the buttons in interface to ensure the new post and home buttons can be easily seen and used.
