Bah! Why do I feel like I have to point this out...

 

The Bootloader issue isn't specific to Lenovo only, but to all (or, most!) phone manufacturers. Not that I'm trying to excuse anyone, it's seriously messed up how this is still an ongoing thing.

 

Some devices are made for specific regions - and are released with a AGENDA (of making moar money, blah), so they're locking the ability to flash the phones...

 

Not to mention how we're not given the flash-tools - which are, instead, made by a 3rd-party, meh. :-/

 

Aanyway, this is what we (all!) want to see, on all our Android devices:

^^ Sony, however, for example (!), has the right idea... With their developer web site, btw. :)
