So I can just use that 8 pin connector and won't need the adapter to change the 6 pin to 8 pin right?

hi guys, i have recently purchased a 2nd hand C530 with basic spec, i5 8400 and 1050.

and im now in process of upgrading the whole unit except the motherboard, so far i have installed the following:

Processor: i7-9700

RAM: Corsair 16x2 2666MHZ "32gb"

CPU Heatsink: Noctua NH-L9x65, 65mm Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler (Brown)

Front fans: Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown)

Rear fan: Noctua NF-A8 PWM chromax.black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (80mm, Black)

PSU: Corsair SF600 600W SFX Silent

PSU face plate: SilverStone SST-PP08 - SFX to ATX PSU Converter

PSU Cables: LINKUP - PSU Cable Extension Sleeved Custom Mod

SATA Cables: Corsair Premium Sleeved SATA Cable - SATA 6Gbps 60cm, 90° Connector

GPU: ASUS Turbo GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6 with the all-new NVIDIA Turing™ GPU architecture TURBO-RTX2060-6G

WiFi: Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 Module – Dual Band, 2x2 Wi-Fi 6

NVME: Samsung 970 plus 1tb

SSD: 2TB 860 Evo

For the PSU i'm going to cut the panel to make adjustments for the power socket which is not much and wont look too bad.

Once i have finished this i will upload few photos if you want?

That’s the max height I recommend for the fan as anything taller will cause disruption with the air flow and for the ssd installation I bought trays that you can install 2.5 drives on for a 3.5 bay, these were not the perfect fit but I managed to at the end.

Inateck SSD Mounting Bracket 2.5 to 3.5 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K9NHL3Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Z38pFbKV46N9J

and you also need the psu plate if you are looking to install a sfx module

SilverStone SST-PP08 - SFX to ATX PSU Converter, black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AWFVKRO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_j48pFb2TBFHX4
