Hey guys, did anyone ever get an update for this? Just got my $1200 C730 and it didnt come with an nvme, so I had no blue clip or anything like that. Also theres no heatsink on the chipset.. did anyone find any good way to strap the nvme down?

The solution I had (Message 7 of 11 on this thread) is working for me. I've had no issues. It's not the prettiest but you'll never see it unless you open the case anyways.

It's too bad they cheaped out so much they couldn't include an inexpensive piece in a little bag inside the box. It's kind of ridiculous. At the very least allow people to purchase the piece. It's marketed as upgradable. But it requires you to rig it to upgrade.

Could be helpful for others to provide information on where you acquired and what particular you used.

Also if can, maybe a photo of your handiwork.

Lol Jerry rigging is no problem, I just didn't know if someone maybe found a part number or something on Amazon. I have it strapped down with electrical tape, works fine. :)

Yeah, nothing official. I guess my Jerry rig is about as good as yours lol.

Sorry. There is no part number because it comes with the motherboard. They don't sell it seperatly.

Yeah which is pretty unfortunate. Other than that, I cant complain. Came with 3 fans and a good PSU.. going to be fun working with this guy. I really want to see if I can mod up some type of matx or mitx custom board to fit when the time comes.

Re:Legion C730 Cube M.2 NVMe Clip or Tray

Has anyone found a solution for the missing clips besides screws? Maybe someone could 3D print them (though I think they are originally rubber) or a third party that sells them?

I bought my C730 a little over a year ago. At the time, there was only two options: Nvidia or AMD. My best friend liked it so much that he wanted one too but then they were sold out for a little bit. When they came back in stock there were many more options and he was able to get one with better specs (i7 -> i9, 16gb -> 32gb, and GTX 1060 -> RTX 2060?). I'm glad it has worked out for him but I'm a little jealous since he only bought his 2 months after mine. As it is, we bought a C530 for my brother last christmas and he has a better graphics card then I do. I love mine, but I'm a little disappointed that because I bought mine early on I am missing pieces that they get out of the box. Especially since these are pieces included in the manual. At the time, I didn't even think to look for the M.2 clips but now it's a year later and I'm making little upgrades just to notice they are gone.
