Legion T5 28imb05 No Sound Card Found

At some point in the last month I lost all audio on my T5.  I don't know if a Windows update is the cause, but no matter what I do I cannot get the PC to find the sound card or install drivers.  In device manager it shows NVIDIA High Definition Audio, but when I open the sound settings, it shows no output devices found.  I'm thinking I should get in the box and remove the sound card and put it back in to possibly trigger a new hardware found.  Anyone else run into this issue with a Lenovo T5?  I attached a diagnostic log which shows that it can't find a sound card.

Have you tried reinstalling the Audio drivers from the support site?

If you haven't already tried that I would suggest maybe trying that. Although removing the sound card idea is also not a bad idea.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers with no success.  I think the fact that it the PC can't find the sound card itself might be the issue.  I'll try removing and reinstalling the card and see if that does anything.  I'll post back after.  Thanks.

Well I got it working again.  I didn't end up pulling the card out, but I ran a diagnostics test at startup, which didn't find any issues.  After the restart the sound was showing and audio playback worked again.  No idea why this fixed it, but if anyone else runs into this, do run a diagnostics check during startup and see if that resolves the problem.
