Update

Disable Soundcard did not fix the crash.

After 1.5 day ..... REBOOT.

Lenevo is just crap. How long do we have to find the bug by our self?

This thread is marked as resolved, long ago.

Think of all the time you've wasted.

Either let it go, and buy another PC or  sue lenovo. Sucks either way.

it has been 4 days since i rolled back to 462.31. No blue screen so far.

But today, the monitor blackout twice within 12 hrs. It feels like the monitor / HDMI losing the signal and the screen just blackout. It resume to normal after dozens of second and all programme remains normal. Nothing like crash.

I look up the "Reliability monitor", nothing capture. Has anyone come across this ?

No, has not happened to me. I believe it might be your monitor… considering it only started on the fourth day, it might not be the driver. I don’t think it will show up under reliability monitor if it does this however. Maybe try rolling back further?

I found a solution!

->Full refund and spent the money on a non faulty system.

My computer now has the latest drivers and is functional for it's intended purpose.

I've managed to survive a week without crashes playing BF 2042. What I did was uninstall ALL sound drivers, realtec and nvidia. Did a clean install of the latest Nvidia driver without any sound drivers and no geforce experience.

 

I get my sound through a razer headset with usb (soundcard included).

 

So far so good.

Refund the machine from where you purchased it. It's not fit for purpose, and its very expensive for not being fit for purpose.

Even out of warranty, consumer law in most countries entitle you to a full refund or replacement for a product that is obviously defective.


THIS WILL NOT BE FIXED.
A workaround may be found, but it is a fundamental issue with the hardware that will become an issue the moment NVIDIA updates their drivers again.
Lenovo may release the occasional supported driver, but they will be few and far between, and the product should not have this problem.

Refund it, and look at purchasing a product without this defect.
