Taterz has the fix. My issues started with windows 10 21h2 upgrade along with a destiny2 update. newest drivers from nvidia and realtek did not help. I used a restore back to go back to windows 10 20h2 and reinstalled the nvidia and realtek drivers from LENOVO. Interesting to note, the latest nvidia driver from lenovo is date May 2021. So far so good - three days later. I will set a restore point and upgrade windows 10 to 21h2 at some point, then watch what happens. Any instability, run the latest nvidia driver from lenovo again. My guess is that will fix it. Second option is installing an AMD video card.... Oh The bios update did not do anything good or bad. It ran successfully though.

I noticed the issue started the SAME day Windows did a massive update, but I'm not sure I want to rollback Windows 10, given 11 is coming, and that will likely fix the issue.  Which version of the BIOS are you running?  The January 2021 update, correct?

I have an AMD card handy and I asked Lenovo to consider partnering with them again, because I have just had more stability with their products, over the past 20+ years.

I don't want to use the Wifi when the ethernet is right here. I thought about shutting off the Wifi to see if that eliminated the issue, but there's some type of weird old-school IRQ issue going on between the GPU (or the PCI-E), the motherboard, and another set of components, which a BIOS update is supposedly going to fix. Other folks who own other brand PCs have also had issues with recent nVidia drivers, the same as us, however, and I think nvidia just haphazardly pushes their new tech without checking against their buyers' products.

Click on the link from taterz and follow the instructions he listed. That should solve it.

Hello guys! I have a forum post with the same issue.

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/Legion-T5-28IMB05-computer-hangs-then-restarts-After-restart-there-is-no-Realtek-audio/m-p/5092732?page=3

If the solution doesn't work for you, my solution might. I asked a Lenovo technician and they said to use this driver instead (456.38).

Have a good day.

471.41 should work on this same tower, for everyone.

Taterz has done the  same as many of us have, simply rolling back to an older nVidia driver.  That is not a solution, but a temporary workaround.
