Thanks for the info! Was it quite easy to install? I haven't been able to install the EVGA G1 or Corsair RX series due to size problems with the Y710 Cube.

And thanks for your info, it really helps me in finding a new one as my standard PSU is faulty :/

Hello
Sorry for my English.

I just finished rebuilding the Y710 Cube.

The maximum depth of the  graphics card 12.5cm. (Sapphire Nitro+ RX480). However, I had to cut one screw.

Maximum CPU cooling height +/- 12cm. I installed a cooling height of 11.5 cm. Noctua NH-D9L. I had to pull out the original mounting for cooling.

Front fan 12cm. It is important to keep original mountings.

The maximum length of the power supply 16cm. I installed Enermax Revolution XT II 550W. However, I had some problems with modular wiring.

Hi all,

even though the Y710 Cube was introduced almost 3 years ago, I definitely see why you all want to keep the Y710 case and why you are further upgrading it ;) Thanks to all the participants for posting valuable information on what is possible and what fits into the case.

Best regards,

Re:Lenovo Y710 Cube - upgrade to i7-6700K processor CPU; GTX 1080 & 1080 Ti; PSU, cooler; benchmarks

Hi T1mm,

I am well aware that this post has gotten pretty old by now, but i was wondering. Did you have to change the PSU in order for the i7 6700k to function properly, or was the stock PSU adequate?

Regards Hemse :)

Hi there,

As long as I stuck with gtx 1080 and later gtx 1080 ti the stock PSU sufficed entirely for i7 6700k. It was only when I had upgraded to rtx 2080 ti that I ran out of juice and I had to replace the stock PSU with Corsair SF750 small form factor one. It is a bit on pricey side but worth every penny in my opinion as it runs quietly and efficiently. It is rated at 750w and with rtx 2080 ti running at full steam it doesn't even have to spin its fan as up to certain temperature it runs completely passively.

Hey there,

I updated the PSU instant because the standard PSU was too weak and didnt had enough connectors for the 1080 TI EXOC. Meanwhile I upgraded to 32GB RAM and 2080 RTX. Runs perfectly smooth wirhout any problems!

Best regards

Timm
