No XMP support for Y900 gaming desktops???

2017-05-02, 16:30 PM

There doesn't seem to be any memory settings in the BIOS for overclocking memory.  It's pretty sad when a modern gaming desktop doesn't support eXtreme Memory Profiles.  This is a standard that's been around for years.  The cheap factory installed memory supports it if only the motherboard's BIOS would allow it to be used.  Come on Lenovo, update your BIOS to support this basic standard.

I agree; apparently can't update the ram to anything better...; getting ready to send my DDR3200 back...  6700k support is also pretty poor.   Also, like yours, most comments aren't responded to and the ones that do say put in the most up to date bios... I almost bricked my system doing that; fix wasn't pulling CMOS battery but the middle pin (towards bottom of board) moved from 1-2, to 2-3).  Reset somehow took me from factory 2015 vs. to 2017 version 01ZKT45A (but not 035KT19A listed as update Dec 2017).
