It seems a new BIOS was added to the Driver Site. Is anyone else getting this issue?

Well it’s been a full month since I requested support for resizeable bar and here we are as expected we are no further forward.

I’m sure the update is not that complicated given that the chipset and the RTX3000 series cards already support it and it merely needs turning on for the GPU and motherboard

Can Lenovo gives their valued customers an update on WHEN we can expect this update and not some wishy washy statement just to appease us.

OVER TO YOU LENOVO !

I agree that there should be quicker and more robust support on the Lenovo side, especially since im sure they are selling many more PCs as enthusiasts are going to Pre-builts due to shortages, so hopefully support will catch up. On the other side h/ever, you have this and other articles not showing major improvements with the resizable BAR, maybe its the implementation or maybe the games have not caught up with the hardware (or both), either way, i think Lenovo still has time before we gather pitchforks :)

Just got the version of this pc with an i7 10700k and 3060ti a few days ago.

I can see from a previous reply that someone said it has been confirmed that there is a resisable bar update in the works, Where does this confirmation come from? Are we able to get confirmation if they are also going to release an updated BIOS for the lenovo OEM gpus aswell. would be kinda pointless without it.

If they dont you would have to find and install a compatible BIOS for a non OEM version of the card which would void your warranty, though that might not be such a bad idea for the Lenovo OEM 3060ti as the power limit is capped at 200 watts. the 3060ti overlocks really well but the 200w hard cap kinda gimps it for no reason. most retail card on an 8pin go to 210 or 220.

Hi all,

the resizable BAR feature has been released for the T7-34IMZ5 in the BIOS version from 7th of May - O5FKT0BA (11th Gen Intel CPUs), which you can flash on your system by installing the latest BIOS package from 26th of May - O5FKT0DA (the latest update contains minor fixes and modifies default setup items) from here. There is no resizable BAR feature for the BIOS O4LKT1_A (10th Gen Intel CPUs).

Best regards,

Hello all,

I got an update from support.

We can confirm that the team is currently working on an update to add resizable bar support for the T7-34IMZ5.

As of this time I can't confirm when this will be released however I can confirm that it is in the works.

I'll post more updates when I have some for you guys,

Jack_Lenovo1

So was this a deliberate lie from Lenovo ?

Clearly they no longer care for all the 10th gen customers who were waiting for this.

I think it comes down to this

CANT do it as their product is just not up to it even though both Z490 motherboard and 30 series gpu support it

WONT do it as Lenovo have taken our money and don't care about us 10th Gen owners anymore

So few questions.

Is resizable bar also coming to 10th gen models in a future update? This should be fully compatible with 10700k / Z490.

And will there be new BIOS updates available for the Lenovo OEM 30 series graphics cards so the feature can actually be used? Without replacing the GPU.

Thanks

Do you know for sure that Lenovo isn't still using the Z490 chipset with the 11th gen chips? They're still advertising this system as having the Z490 with the new CPUs anyhow.
