I just recieved my T730 w/ 9900k and RTX 2080 - 16 gb 2666 MHz RAM and the GPU temperatures get pretty high.
I tested it in Witcher 3 (1440p, Ultra everything, NVIDIA Hairworks Geralt only) and Far Cry 5 (1440p Ultra everything).
RTX 2080 reaches 80 - 83 C and doesnt drop throughout my entire gaming session. I should mention that this persists despite me taking the side panel off. Ambient room temperature is normal (18 C) and my T730 isnt in a cupboard or anything, its out in the open.
Any suggestions?

Yes Its updated. I even went to vantage.lenovo.com and it redirects me to the Micrsoft Store which shows that my Lenovo Vantage is up to date.

Hi xJSB17,
Thanks for the information.
Please check if the RTX card on your machine is a single-fan or a tri-fan GPU
If your machine is equipped with a single-fan GPU the temperature is normal since a single-fan gpu cannot dissipate heat as effectively as a tri-fan GPU.
If this is the case you must turn on the extreme cooling option found in Lenovo Vantage.
Hope this helps.

Its a single fan GPU. Can you direct me to the Extreme Cooling option in Lenovo Vantage?

Hi xJSB17,
If the extreme cooling option is not available in your current Vantage version. Kindly try using this link to learn more about the Lenovo Nerve Sense center.
Let us know if this helps.

Theres only a turbo boost option in Lenovo Nerve Center, and I enabled it but it didnt kick up the fan speed at all.
