Hi sammiller,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

There are models that allows this feature in the BIOS. But if yours do not have this option, it could be a BIOS limited feature set by OEM to protect the machine from overheating and incorrect protocols for the machine.

Others may resort to modding the BIOS which is not suggested due to high risk of bricking the motherboard.

I hope this helps answer your query.

Hi sammiller,

Warm Greetings & welcome to Lenovo Community, happy to have you here.

To overclock your CPU you need to change the BIOS Settings.

1. First, turn off your computer and restart it, then press Delete F2 or F10 Key repeatedly.

2. Then, click on Advanced CPU Core Settings and there you will find overclockingsettings. I think here you will be able to do all these things.

But I also think you can automate this process by using these CPU overclocking software. These software also increase the performance of your CPU, GPU, and all.
