I am willing to upgrade my NVME SSD to Samsung’s 970 Evo 1TB, and I have noticed that on the website the Legion Y530 is listed up to 512 GB of NVME SSD, does that means that the 1 TB won’t work.
Note: I have looked in Crucial’s website and they listed their 1TB NVME SSD is compatible with the Legion Y530.
My question is, does NVME SSD upto means anything, and will Samsung’s 970 Evo 1TB NVME SSD will work my Legion Y530?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
It does say "Storage Up to 512 GB PCIe SSD / 2 TB HDD" as this is OEM offering and have certified/ tested for this model.
Higher capacity PCIe m.2 SSD storage may work with no issue but it is not OEM guaranteed. Crucial may have their own testing done and may offer their own "known to work" on the model.
I hope this helps answer your query.
