I've recently purchased a Lenovo Legion Y520 which had Windows 10 pre-installed on it.
I wanted to install Linux on SDD as the main OS. I wanted to move windows installation from the SDD to HDD.
So i backed up the windows partition with a third-party tool then formated the SDD completely including the recovery partition.
I talked to merchant technical support and they told me that the license for windows is obtained with the motherboard serial but the recovery tool would guarantee restoring everything including driver updates & Lenovo useful softwares.
I want to know where can i get an official image for the recovery partition in case i wanted to install windows again on the SDD without the previously created image.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can review this articles to check for recovery media eligibility:
The Legion Y520 do not have One Key Recovery (OEM factory reset) but instead using Widows reset features as mentioned from the user manual (chapter 3). There are media available for purchase and you can simply download the same ISO Windows 10 image independently too from here. The drivers are also free for download from the support site.
Hope this helps answer your query.
