BSOD after waking up from sleep / hibernate - Lenovo Y520-80WK004FCK

Hello,

 

recently, about for 2 months I am experiencing random BSOD after waking my laptop up from sleep / hibernation mode. There is no solution offered by windows itself, so what do I have to do at the moment not to experience BSOD anymore? 

 

In the event manager I found out it is done by Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power

So far I found out the problem is done by ntoskrnl.exe

Hi Tiesti! Welcome to Community Forums.

Is the issue happening only after waking up the machine from sleep or hibernate mode? Did it happen after an
update? It could be caused by the graphics and memory. Update your system using the Lenovo Vantage app. Just
search Lenovo Vantage in Cortana search field, open the app (download if not yet installed) then look for system
updates. Also, check for Windows updates, manually update if there are pending updates. You may also run a
hardware scan using Lenovo Vantage, look for Help & Support then run hardware scan. So you can check if there's
any hardware failure that might be causing the blue screen errors. Please let us know how it goes.

I've already done all of the things you've mentioned, but all the tests passed without a problem and it did not really help. The problem remains...is there another solution?

I have the same problem as you. After waking up from sleep / hibernate I got a BSOD. I don't know how to fix it. I installed Lenovo vantage and everything looks good. My system is up to date. I have Windows 10 Pro. Could you help with that?

Lenovo support center at its honest best capacity to fix the problems I guess Smiley Happy 

Should I rather send my laptop to fix it so it can take like week to repair a simple problem instead of trying to find a solution with one of the lenovo support center members here?

I am no proffesional in repairing laptops, but are you guys not here because you should prevent this exact solution - spending money and time to send laptop to your centre to repair it there?

I am willing to send any BSOD messages, logs, stats, but seems like you just do not care about your customers at all.

I can do the same (I have bsod messages, logs etc)
@TechnicalSupport could you help us. Could you give me an information what you need to fix our problem?
We want to get lenovo new quality so please take my and @Tiesti gift

Try disabling fast startup in power settings.

Thanks for your reply. This was the first thing I did after having a BSOD problem and having a deep search what could cause it. After trying out few solutions found on web, I decided to write here.

Disabling fast booting not help ;/ 

I also 

* check computer using lenovo software 

* run memtest 

* check smart hdd/sdd two times 

* update all drivers via lenovo software 

 

Nothing help ;/ ;/ ;/ ;/

hi,

Maybe I could help you. Have you enabled Hybrid sleep? I have Y530 and sleep/unsleep mode works fine when I enable this feature but I have another problem because Hybrid sleep is incompatible with Hyper-V ... I fixed one problem but unfortunately Lenovo generates another one. I need Hyper-V for work and I need sleep/unsleep mode for my comfort and good mental health.
