Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
This is actually related to the Intel drivers. Be sure you have the latest BIOS version installed on your systems. The chances are there is an update for Windows 8.1. Also, be sure to check your BIOS for settings about disabling the Intel HD Graphics card. There might be a settings to always use the NVidia/ATI card. If this is disabled it will not install indeed.
Also, don't forget to remove the old driver and reboot before installing the new one.
