Blurry apps on Legion Y540

2020-10-08, 23:32 PM

When i open some apps the contents of the app itself seems blurry and this is really frustrating me...
This is an example of what i'm talknig about, there is a huge difference between the header and the app itself, how to fix this?

First make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your Legion y540

Next follow the steps in this document:    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4091364/windows-10-fix-blurry-apps

If still a problem, then left-click on Start and type  Clear Type  and select Adjust Clear Type Text  control panel from the list of Search Results and follow the prompts.

Also try dimming the screen a bit to see if that helps.

Best of luck,

I'd guess it's because of Scale & Layout.

Try this:

Right-click desktop and choose "Display Settings".

In there will be a "Scale & Layout" section.

Make sure the "Change the size of text, apps and other items" is set to 100%.

I'm guessing in your case it might be set to 125%.

If it's not that, I'm out of ideas.
