Does anyone know how to prevent windows from reverting our bios version to the latest?  I had to revert back to 1.03 so I could keep my max fan control for a second time today because windows is recongnizing the UPDATED lenovo bios as an update.

Does anyone have flickering issues when gaming like a light source in game flickers?

And does it my screen problem or motherboard problem?

My unit specs are

Y740,i7 9750h,rtx 2070 max q.

This may be a problem with the graphics card drivers. I had a brief flicker at one time, then "cured".

Please start a new thread. This thread is entitled "Bring back fan control to the Legion Y740" and has nothing to do with flickering screens and video drivers. Thanks.

I've got y540 for 0,5 a year and after december BIOS update my graph/cpu is "clicking" when fans spin up.
When i put my ear close to the cpu/gpu localisation on main board i can hear some clicking, slizzling which is noticeable in quiet room.
When fans spin up it get's louder so when your fan are on, u can hear them not a stable fan noise but nose with addicional clicks, extreamly annoying for working in quiet area.

Anyone of you has acces to older versions of BIOS for y540 (1660ti, i7-9750h) and instructions how to downgrade it? It's extremely annoying for me and i'm wondering to send it for service ONLY because of this crap bios...

My temps are nice, of course after undervolting :D
