I had issues with my laptop charger since the week i bought the laptop, yesterday, I accidentally dropped the power brick from about half a meter of height, and it stopped working, i want to know if lenovo's limited warranty covers the charger as a part from the main product, so i can return it and ask for replacement, and if not, then i am gonna whether buy a new one, or try to open the broken one, the laptop is y700.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
I think they should be able to send you a replacement charger, but you will have to contact the support to get the exact disclaimer from them.
Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
I would advise against touching the broken charger, best not to mess with it.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

My advice, unless you can see the charger as physically broken on the outside - DO NOT mention to the support that you dropped the charger, just tell them that it stopped working and they will send you a replacement.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
