Corsair ICUE Lighting effect

2021-07-07, 12:21 PM

Hey,
Ive recently got myself a lenovo legion 7i.
Its got this RGB software which is the corsair ICUE for the keyboard and external lighting control.
There is an option which reads "Void visualizer". When chosen there's 2 options to choose, either playback visualizer or micrphone visualizer.
I tried both options but there were no effects in the keyboard and ive tried searching for the issue on reddit and youtube but havent found a solution.

Hello @TejaVu123,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I was able to reach out to support and it was confirmed that this is a known issue with the Void visualizer.

There is a way to circumvent this by closing the iCue software and trying the steps below.

Turn off backlighting of the keyboard.

Press FN+Space three times and this should activate the Void visualizer option.

Hope this helps.
Regards,

hey, i have a lenovo legion 7i, it is the newer variant to the lenovo y7 version.
And i believe if you exit the icue software there are:
1 spiral rainbow
2 another spiral rainbow with a dissapearing effect
3 raindrop from the key you press
4 random key light up
5 constant blue light

There are no other default presets.

Hello @TejaVu123,

Thanks for the update.

I've also read somewhere in the iCue community that in order to have the Void visualizer working you would need to have a Corsair audio device.

Hello @Jack_Lenovo1
I understand you need a corsair audio headset.
But that might be only for microphone visualizer.
What about the playback visualizer?
