Keep the OLD BOOT LOGO

If you're on bios 52, 53, or 54, make sure you enable "Bios Back Flash" in your bios before proceeding. If you're on an older bios with the old boot logo, you can skip step 1.

1. Get bios CDCN37WW and flash it.
2. Get the latest bios you'd like to flash and unpack it with WinRAR.
3. Open platform.ini file in Windows and edit the following section to look like this:

[ForceFlash]
ALL=0
BB_PEI=0
CPU_Microcode=0
Variable=0
DXE=0
EC=0
Password=0
OEM_NVS=0
Logo=1
Type#09=0
Type#08=0

4. Save file. Flash bios. It'll flash the latest bios and leave your old logo intact.

just follow the steps as mentioned by Zucker2k

if you don't have the old logo bios file, unfortunately it was removed form the Official Lenovo drivers page :smileysad:

Zucker2k shared a link that was removed by Community Moderator

unfortunately the file also contains malware browser hijacker but it can be easily removed

Wish I can help you

That's rather unfortunate. Must be a false flag, or a post upload attachment on the host site. Anyhow, just locate one of the older bios flags with the old boot logo. CDCN37WW is the latest bios with the old boot logo.
I've found ways to tweak my system; speedshift enabled, my hynix ram stock timings of 15-15-15-35 DDR 2133 is now running at 14-14-14-31 DDR 2666, and a long list of other tweaks.

I tried this:
-Installed CDCN37WW
-Rebooted and the nice logo showed up - awesome!
-Downloaded CDCN54WW opened platform.ini , edited Logo=1, saved, installed the firmware
-Rebooted and the old logo was there - Boo!
-Came back here, realized that the All=1 was still set.
-Installed CDCN37WW again.
-Rebooted and the nice logo showed up - awesome!
-Downloaded CDCN54WW opened platform.ini , edited Logo=1 AND All=0, saved, installed the firmware
-Rebooted and the nice logo was there - Awesome!

So don't be like me - make sure you focus on the areas to change:

[ForceFlash]
ALL=0
BB_PEI=0
CPU_Microcode=0
Variable=0
DXE=0
EC=0
Password=0
OEM_NVS=0
Logo=1
Type#09=0
Type#08=0
