I generally use a second monitor via an HDMI cable while working. However, it stopped working today.
I checked these:
My computer runs Windows 10 Home with latest updates installed.
I suspect this is due to a driver error. How can I fix this problem?

Did you recently install new devices or updated your OS?
I would back my data and try to do a rollback using refresh this pc.
Try to go back to previous build of windows or a downright factory reset.
