My lenovo legion Y520 touchpad isn't responding at all, it is working fine for the first 1-2 hours when i use it, then suddenly it stops working for no reason at all, it got fixed everytime i restart the laptop, but it's too troublesome when im doing some work, here's some weird thing :
1. When i go to the setting, the touchpad didn't have any option available but the touchpad sensivity,
2. On the device manager the ELAN pointing device is up and running
3. On the mouse properties it also says that the smartpad is enabled, but it didn't respond, not even the left-click and the right-click
4. Everything else is working normally, Fn+F6 shows that the touchpad is on or off but the touchpad isnt responding when it was turned on
I tried googling but couldn't found any similar problems to mine, i hope some experts could help up, thanks in advance!
Edit : Im currently using windows 10

Try uninstalling the ELAN driver and restart.
