How to roll back to the NVIDIA driver that came pre-installed with my laptop (ideapad Gaming 3)?

2021-10-13, 4:23 AM

So, recently I updated my Nvidia Graphics driver though GeForce experience, but I would like to roll back to the driver that came pre-installed with my PC.  How can I do that?

How can I download that driver from Lenovo website and install it on my PC (ideapad Gaming 3-15ARH05 Laptop - Type 82EY)?

On Lenovo's Driver Update site, I am not seeing any Nvidia Graphics driver listed:

Hello @RishabhSingh ,

Thanks for reaching out.

I can see in the photo that there are Nvidia VGA drivers available for download.

You can simply uninstall the current drivers from the device manager then install the downloaded ones from the support site.

Hi, this is the Graphics driver currently installed on my PC (highlighted):

Is it safe to replace this driver with that VGA Driver available on Lenovo website?

Hello @RishabhSingh ,

It should be safe since the drivers are specifically made for your machine.
