Inability to separate speaker from headphone outputs with realtek driver

2019-11-16, 3:29 AM

So I am having this issue that people can hear what I am listening on my Legion Y720 when using headsets when Discord or Skype are on. For example, if I am seeing a video on youtube they can hear the sound. This happens because for some reason Realtek doesn't give me the option to select headphones on sound device list, so it is treated as being speakers. I am using a Corsair HS35, it has a 3.5mm jack. When I was using an usb headset I didn't have this problem. So what could be the solution? Latest drivers did nothing to solve it. I saw some answers on internet about Realtek HD manager previously having the option to separate then, but the new one doesn't. So what to do? Download some very old driver version?

No options on the Realtek HD manager, as seen on the screenshot below.
