Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9462 not working

I have had my lenovo y7000 2019 for a few months now. One day the wifi just didn't come up. It says its a code 10 error. I know that this problem has created dosens of threads but most of them had an answer that satisfyed the author. I have tried arond 15 solutions. It didn't work even after a clean installation of licensed windows. I have another y7000 in the household and it seems to be working just fine. I have tried reinstalling the driver and all ot the basic solutions but nothing helped. Can someone suggest something? Could it be a BIOS problem? How do I solve that?

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

I would recommend checking the Wifi card's connection to the system board.

This manual below should help you with disassembly (page 38)

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I checked the connection and it seems to be fine. I have attached a picture of it.

I am most confused because even the clean install didn`t help. The weird thing is that Bluetooth is working perfectly.

What else should I try?

I could not see the AC 9462 card in the listed compatible parts. Did this come with the machine or was it upgraded?

Could you share the MTM of your machine so I can check it again?

I was able to locate the parts page for the machine and you are correct you have the right wireless card.

Could you try these steps recommended by the Intel support site for the code 10 error?

I would also want to check with you if you have the current BIOS version installed on the machine BHCN41WW.

Hi,

So I did everything according to the intel website again I even unplugged my big and small round battery as well. Nothing helped. My BIOS version is up to date. Idk what to do. Should I roll back my BIOS version? When I did a clean install of the windows it wasn`t working either so that`s why I am suspecting the BIOS update. The problem came around that time. Where can I find the files for the previous BIOS?

SoI rolled back my BIOS to 38WW but it still didn`t help. The error code: 

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

 

I am completely clueless.
