Legion 5-15ARH05 - Problem with Wi-Fi 5Ghz - Connected but no Internet access

2020-08-18, 20:25 PM

Hello,

I have a problem connecting to the 5Ghz network. After connecting, he stops immediately. After reconnecting, it works for a few minutes and stops again (disconnects and there is a message: "Connected but no Internet access".

On other laptops, the network works fine.

Does anyone have such a problem and can help?

Hi. I do have the same issue with wifi on my legion 5 (AMD). When the wifi network is on load my laptop freezes a litthe and the freez definetelly has something to do with the intel wi-fi 6 ax200.

Moreover  when I was downloading some data for a while I had to restart the wifi card several times.

As a temporary solution I started using wired connection, but I guess the wifi card here is to be replaced with a more compatible one.

Also tried to update drivers... didn't help.

Having the same problem too. But for me I could not connect to 5g at all, with the right password and all. Supplier said to do a factory reset on the device but no assurance. If it does not work they're asking the device back for troubleshooting purposes but I'm reluctant to go that way as they may mess up the device more, I have trust issues. Thinking of ignoring the issue as 5g connections are still rare and if it does get rolled out 2.4g connections will still be available.
