Legion 5 Pro-16ACH6H Laptop (Lenovo) Green Dead Pixel

2021-05-04, 11:42 AM

Hi all,

I have case of the  laptop where there is single green pixel on screen.

Here is HW summary from:

https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/Legion/Lenovo_Legion_5_Pro_16ACH6H?M=82JQ002AMX

The display is: 16" WQXGA (2560x1600)

Here is : LCD-display-policy https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht035306-lcd-display-pixel-policy-idealenovo-laptops-and-tablets

And  WQXGA type of screen is not included in the policy?

What to do?

Thanks :)

Hello @CEC_DUSAN_GR,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Would it be possible for you to attach a photo of the pixel?

Have you also tried reaching out to service to report this?

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jack_Lenovo1

I do not have photo right now. But how can I understand this rule (n>=2 (Green =0). Why specifically is Green = 0 mentioned? from : https://support.lenovo.com/ph/en/solutions/ht035306

Hello @PC_Dusan_GR,

Sorry for the late reply.

Based on the table green should indicate the sub-pixel ( Each pixel contains three dots of Red, Green and Blue (sub-pixel).

It would be best to reach out to service for further assistance if the panel has any dead pixels.

Regards,
