I recently got a notification on Vantage about an available bios update 10 64. When I click "proceed" to update it fails to complete the download process. The update file is only less than 7MB. I can download files or updates way bigger than this from other programs. Is there another way to install this update because the notification comes up each time I restart the computer.

Don't use Vantage for firmware update.

Download the BIOS firmware from Lenovo support site https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/...

Save to your desktop and run.

We're sorry to hear about the trouble downloading the BIOS update for your device.

Please check what BIOS you have because it could be that you already have the latest BIOS (4KCN45WW released 18 Jan 2019) for this model.

How to check current BIOS:
1. Open Lenovo Vantage
2. Click Device (from the top right) then select Device Details
3. Locate the BIOS info from the left pane of the page

If your current BIOS is older here is the direct download link for the 4KCN45WW BIOS.

Thank you for the suggestions. My current BIOS is version 4KCN40WW

After downloading and trying to install manually it launched "Insyde" but could not complete installation due to an error: "Mount the EFI System Partition Fail". I have attached as screenshot

Any suggestions on what I need to do?

Run Windows repair to fix the EFI partition

If the above suggested will not work, try to change the hard disk system mbr to gpt.
