Sorry, I've bought an legion y520 with only hdd, can I add ssd m2 without lost warranty? I bought and live in Italy

As long as you do not cause any physical damage to laptop during replacement, you should be good.

 

If you know what you are doing, and putting in an SSD is a fairly simple task, then go ahead and follow the instructions in the Hardware Maintenance Manual on the Support page of the laptop.

Well it is a gaming laptop, they do expect you to open it up for upgrades and such. Simply opening up the laptop will not void the warrenty. However, if you end up messing things up while messing around in there, the warrenty may not cover the damages (which may be what you were hoping for).

no no I do if I create damage while I try install ssd I lose warranty, but I see that on another brands, open pc is lose the warranty
