I am on windows 10 and one day my touchscreen just stopped working. I checked device manager and HID-compliant Touch Screen Driver is "not connected". So I uninstalled and try to detect hardware change but it won't let me reinstall. It seems like the touchscreen is not being detected by the computer. Please help

Yes, it happened with my Yoga 720 as well, and many many users have the same problem. The issue seems to depend on the installation of Windows 10 while connected to Internet. Somehow, something goes wrong and the touchscreen is not recognized anymore. There seems to be no solution besides formatting everything and reinstall Windows 10 again withouth internet connection. I think we are all waiting for Lenovo or Windows to fix this bug, but so far looks like no one has had any serious response yet.

For me, its been 8+ months no since windows update that my touch screen (Y700 ISK touch) has gone out. Touch screen will come on for a minute and then go off for months.
Device manager is no longer picking up HID under show hidden device. (too many complaints in forum for years - still no fix) A touch screen driver should be made by lenovo tech support for download - otherwise, why would buy a lenovo touchscreen computer will disappoint
If anyone know a modern fix - please reply back
