My laptop configuration:
OS: Windows 10 64 bits (up-to-date)
Model : Lenovo Ideapad Y700 15ISK (80NV)
BIOS : CDCN37WW
Five days ago the keyboard suddenly stopped to respond (nb : the Num Lock led remained on). I tried to restart Windows but since it could not (stucked on the reboot screen) I pressed the power button and heard a "clack" sound.
When I restarted the computer the hard drive made some noices and the fans started to turn at high speed for ~3 seconds.
NB : I upgraded to bios CDCN35WW few days before. After the incident I updated to CDCN37WW.
Today the problem happened again (keyboard not responding). Before trying to reboot I unpluged and pluged back my mouse (Lenovo gaming mouse). As I expected, it did not function once I pluged it back. I tried to log out before rebooting.
At that time Windows crashed and I saw the BSOD for 1 second before the computer shut down and reboot showing the Novo Button Menu (the keyboard was still not responding at this time).
I rebooted by pressing the power button, once again some worrysome electrical noices while I was doing so.
The computer restarted and once again noices from the hard drive + fans at full speed.
Any suggestion ? Are BIOS updates bugged ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there, TR –
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
“Please be advised that Lenovo is in the process of removing the BIOS CDCN35WW for ideapad Y700-15ISK, Y700 Touch-15ISK, and Y700-17ISK laptops in response to customer reports that the software does not execute as expected. Once the issue has been corrected, CDCN35WW or a newer version of the BIOS will be made available. "
Update us how it goes.

Thank you for your answer.
Since I had this problem after updating to CDCN37WW I don't think it comes from CDCN35WW. Maybe the problem is present in both versions ?
Note this bug occured the 2 times while a full screen application was running (e.g: games). I tried to update as much drivers as possible in the Device Manager of Windows 10, but I have still some doubts about the BIOS.
In fact a lot of issues I encountered these 2 times are similar to the ones mentionned in these posts :
Computer froze then reboot in Novo Menu (with keyboard still not functionning) :
Keyboard freeze, black screen, etc :
Once again keyboard freezes, black scree, etc..:
A common point in theses topics seems to be the bios CDCN37WW.
