Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05H Wi-fi Issues

2021-01-14, 5:06 AM

I have recently found many issues with my wi-fi concerning connecting and staying connected to a 5 GHz source. All other devices on the wi-fi work perfectly fine, but often my laptop will drop its connection and have to be restarted or constantly manually re-connected. As of today, it has been taking a couple of minutes to 'check network requirements' before saying that I have connected without internet. Most of the research I have done has been pointing to a possible wi-fi card issue or problem with my network driver. Has anyone else figured out how to stop this from happening or have a suggestion for which network adapter I should use? Currently, I have an Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz as my adapter.

If your laptop drops its connection and is constantly manually re-connected,

I will suggest you disabling your network adapter power-saving setting.

Also, check the general power setting of your laptop and set it to never

disconnect when power is low.
