That's great. Have you thought about doing any undervolt? I have seen a lot about it in AMD but nothing about Intel and don't know If It would be convenient.

Read the descriptions in the Time Spy scores. I have them listed in each one.

Yes, undervolting is easy to do with Throttlestop. If I'm not benchmarking, I use -.075. Helps keep things cool.

No xtu. No advanced bios. All I needed was throttlestop. The i9-11980hk is unlocked.

I have a higher score than you have with my legion 7 (AMD 5900hx + rtx 3080) version.

Are you sure thats the highest you can get?

Oh, this is ridiculous. I have one coming tomorrow, and have a feeling it will be back to UPS and on its way back to Lenovo by the weekend if there is no way to disable raid, and install 2TB SSD in the second slot. I'll take a look and call support, but if I cannot put my entire Steam library on a $3.4K laptop... what's the point. Sigh. :-(

Anyways, just adding my voice to frustrations people have with Lenovo on this topic.

People figured out a way to do it.

1. Delete the RAID first (remove both drives from the array) in the BIOS
2. Then switch the VMD to disabled. It will automatically enable AHCI
3. Then just save, reboot and install Windows as normal.

That still doesn't help us get XMS in bios or have any manual fan control, although there is a 3rd party fan control app out now. It works great. Its a shame Lenovo won't do it for their customers.
