For one week now I own a Y520 with i5, 8GB RAM, 2TB HDD and GTX 1060.
Great machine by the way!
But I need to mention that for my taste RAM is not enough and the HDD is far to slow.
I know how to make an upgrade but I need your certitude that it will not affect my product's warranty.
This laptop have no "back door" for memory or SSD and all the 13 screws need to be removed. Will this procedure cancel my warranty?
As upgrade parts I decided for A-Data Premier 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 So-Dimm CL16 (even I am pretty sure this product is CL17) and SSD Intel 6000P 256 GB (M2 PCIe with one midline I mean just M, not B+M). Normally this parts are accepted by my system.
Thanks in advance for any official Lenovo reply.

Warm Greetings & welcome to Lenovo Community, happy to have you here.
Upgrading Memory and HDD will not void the warranty until and unless your damaging the laptop in the process of upgradation and the upgraded parts will not be covered under warranty.
Below are the OEM tested parts for your system: source, page 66
Memories: 32GB max / DDR4 2400MHz, two 260-pin SO-DIMM sockets
I hope the above information helped you.

The RAM should work fine as long as it is DDR4 1.2v and more than 2133MHz
The SSD however, may need some settings to be changed in BIOS, if you want it to be the bootable drive. After installing SSD, you MAY have to switch the SATA controller mode to AHCI for the SSD to be recognized by windows setup.
As for warranty, unless you cause physical damage to the laptop the warranty should be fine. Follow the Hardware manual instructions carefully. I opened my laptop and it is pretty easy except for the part where you need to remove the back cover since you need to slide it up a bit and then lift it.

I have 8gb ramaxel 2666 mhz in my y520 so can I add a another 2400mhz ram to work it as dual channel memory??
Yeah, but in 2400 Mhz. The RAM speed practically does not matter so you'll be fine.
