Lenovo Legion Y530 boot loop

2021-04-07, 20:04 PM

Hello,

As stated in title, my Lenovo Legion Y530 just won't work at all. One day, it just decided to break down for no reason.

It is stuck in a boot loop, and everytime it is trying to boot, it shuts down. https://youtube.com/shorts/zA5fxM4IpcE?feature=share here is what is happening.

I went with it at 3 different services and they couldn't figure out what the problem is. They tried using a HDD with installed windows and it still didn't work, I tried every solution I could find on the internet but nothing seems to work.

I can't afford a new laptop now so I wish to save it if possible.

Please, help

Hello @Tamiko,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Kindly try using the Novo button at the right side of the machine: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/legiony530-15ich_legiony530-15ich-1060_ug_en_201806.pdf?linkTrack=PSP:ProductInfo:UserGuide (Page 6 item 2)

Once you are able to use this please try accessing the BIOS and loading the setup defaults (F9 then F10)

If this does not work please try resetting the machine by using the Novo button then selecting system recovery. Please follow the link below for instructions on what to do next: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/videos/vid100785-how-to-reset-your-pc-in-windows-10

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jack_Lenovo1

I did these steps too, the clean install stops at "Getting devices ready" and my laptop just turns off there. Now when i turn it back on i have to choose which windows volume to continue with then it shuts down.
