Mine was 16 already selected. Changing this setup has fix the issue, obviously i need some time to check and confirm if issue is solve.

This was the only way to noticed a difference while using Latencymon test. For latencymon i still having delay but afterall, with Slew Rate 16 i have 8000 miliseconds delay, but with Slew Rate 8 i just 2000 miliseconds and i manage to watch videos in a proper way.

Notice that now program show that latency comes from another process named ACPY driver. Microsoft Corporation

Sorry, in the last step you must change Slew Rate to 16, not 8. Was a copy and paste mistake

I'm not shure to understand what you mean by hybrid. How do you disable that?

I have the same problem on my new Y540, tried everything listed in this thread but still have the issue. It's really annoying.

Hi, when i say HYBRID MODE you must enter into LENOVO VANTAGE app and be sure that feature is disable.

Your first step must be disable  hybrid mode, then load de optimized setup on BIOS MENU

Hello, can you please send some kind of photo or something of what should i do in BIOS. I'm not very good at it and didn't find the "optimized setup" option.

Hi. 1) Check the right side of your laptop and close to the USB port will be a little hole. Push it to have BIOS access. 2) Move into the menu to the last option named EXIT, 3) Here you can find everything i said, select LOAD OPTIMIZED, then EXIT SAVING

Thanks.

In fact you have to chose Load defaults then the confirmation message says Load optimized defaults that's why I didn't find it at first.

The problem still remains and is worse than when I chosed /8.

I think I might contact Lenovo. A brand new 1000$ computer that can't even play correctly a Youtube video, that's crazy stupid...! :-(

There are a few things you can try first if you haven't already:

- Search: 'Power & Sleep settings' -> Right side click 'Additional power settings' -> Click 'Change plan settings' on the active profile (this should be 'Balanced (recommended)' if you haven't changed any settings previous to this). -> Click 'Change advanced power settings' -> Scroll down to 'Processor power management' and open the dropdown menu -> Click 'Minimum processor state' and change the values for battery (be warned, this causes your processor to never drop down to lower frequencies which will drain your battery) and plugged in to 100%.

- Search: 'Device manager' -> Click 'Sound, video and game controllers' -> Click 'Realtek Audio' -> Go to the 'driver' tab -> Click 'Update Driver' -> Click 'Browse my computer for driver software' -> Click 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer' -> Click 'High Definition Audio Device' and then Next -> If you get a warning, just click yes -> It says that you should restart, but the changes take effect immediately so you should be able to notice if this fixes the desync if it occurs again.

Feel free to ask any questions should you have them.
