A couple of days ago, I had my lenovo y700-15isk laptop's HDD broken, i checked it and everything, it is completely dead, so i manage to change it. I've token a HDD form my old HP laptop (it used to had it the same - 2.5" and etc...) but, this HDD appears to have a HP recovery partition on it. So the question is:
How can i delete the old recovery partition and then create one, that is suitable for the current machine?
I know that there is a base with recovery images, lenovo provides for users (https://support.lenovo.com/lenovorecovery), but it respond that there are no any images or something for this laptop i have (y700). Is there any other solutions?
ps: i am not native english speaker, so i excuse if something will sound wrong or impolite in forward. Reask me please, if my question seems ununderstandable, i will try to rephrase it. Tnaks.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Assuming that your machine came with preloaded Windows, you just have to clean install it back to the new drive formatting all partitions (deleting all its contents so be sure you have back-up if needed) with a downloaded image installer.
Here is also the support site for the drivers.
I hope this helps answer your query.
