Hi I bought this laptop New about 2 months ago and since it was plugged in the majority of the time I had conservative mode on so it charged to 60% and then stopped. I recently required to use it off charger so I turned off the conservative mode from Lenovo settings and the battery wouldn't charge beyond 93%.
I read a similar thread and someone recommended downloading and installing Lenovo energy manager which I did and after installing it from the Lenovo site I can't seem to find it on my system!
I tried full discharge till the battery was dead and left it overnight and it reached 94% and stopped again although Windows says it's charging.
Also I want to know if it's normal that my battery info in Lenovo settings says that the my full charge capacity is 40 wh and the design capacity is 60wh keeping in mind that this is a new battery and only has 8 cycles of recharge recorded so is this difference normal. Moreover the battery lasts just under 2 hours with normal browsing and screen at 70% brightness with power profile at balanced and Lenovo battery stretch setting off
Hope anyone helps so I can know if i have to take it in to the shop

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
