Lenovo Y700 Overheating, 92℃ GPU!

I bought my Y700 on April, just four months ago. This started to happen about one month ago, machine got extremely hot when I was playing games such as Battlefield 4, The Division and Overwatch. I bought a laptop cooler, but it didn't help at all. I downloaded tool and measured the temperature.  GPU temperature can get to 92℃ and CPU can get to 80℃, but my laptop never automatic shutdown, is it normal?

I updated my BIOS, but it does not work at all. I feel like that I can bake eggs with my laptop Smiley Sad, I cant touch the bottom of laptop, cuz its so hot!

Hi ZhongtianZhang  ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

As you have described it as too hot to touch , the more that I would encourage you to call in tech support for recommended step/ service specially if this would happen even when you set it on clean boot. Have the temperature result and inform updated BIOS done .
