Lenovo Y700 SSD RAID 0 Problem

2016-04-20, 20:51 PM

Hi, recently I bought a Lenovo Y700 laptop (Y700-15ISK), default M.2 SSD was on board but original HDD has been swapped with Kingston HyperX 250GB SSD by me. When i completed configure it, i decided to make a RAID 0 beetewen these two SSDs, but i've met the problem: i can't set RAID in BIOS, i couldn't even find that option.

This problem is puzzling to me, and if i may, i would ask you for your help in this issue.

Best Regards

Konrad

Just a comment since I have not use this for a long time. As far as I can remember, you need at least three hdd/ssd. One for the system and the other two for the raid 0 connection. These two will act as your data disk. If your bios does not have the raid option you can use storage spaces to achieve Raid 0.
