Lenovo Y700 Touch-15ISK Speakers stop working after sleep

Within the last 2 weeks or so, Whenever I shut my laptop, which makes it sleep, the speakers, but not the sub, stop working when windows resumes. Any ideas?

I have done a virus scan. The RealTek audio driver has been updated as well.

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

To verify, can you try the following:

Uninstall the Realtek HD Audio Driver from the Control Panel (large icon view) > Programs and Features and reboot

After the reboot, Windows will now install a generic sound driver (High Definition Audio). Try to re-create the issue, (i.e resume from sleep) that you're having and observe.

If using the generic sound driver fixes it, try re-installing the audio driver from this link:
