Lenovo Y700 can't boot OS from Intel 600p - seen in bios INFO but not in BOOT options

2017-03-11, 9:57 AM

Hello, I've installed new intel 600p ssd, but bios couldn't recognize it as BOOTABLE option - only at info screen i can see it's name. when I try to do windows installation I'm getting a message 'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.'

I've tried all possible options in BIOS - loaded defaults, changed from LEGACY to UEFI and vice versa, formatted SSD to MBR, GPT, cleaned it again but nothing helps. If I format it - my windos on hdd sees it as an ssd and I can use it. But I want to install WINDOWS there.

P.S I'm getting same error message when installing windows from my existing windows or when bootin from install USB.

what can I do?
