They say an image is worth a thousand words, so here is an essay in the form of a video.

If there are doubts about the 5ghz support on this device.

No other device in the house has issues with the 5ghz network, it also fails in every other 5ghz network I have tried.

However. sometimes it just connects without issue, but loses connection and is unable to reconnect when waking from sleep (lid closed to open)

Please resolve this driver issue.

Hello Tommy_twotoes

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to download the WiFi and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page. Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

I am sorry, the driver on the support site is the one i have. Reinstalling should not do anything.

Intel3165_Intel8265_19.80.0.100&RTL8821_2023.61.703.2017&NFA435A_NFA344A_12.0.0.325

^ copy pasted from the support download filename, as you can see in the end of the string, its 12.0.0.325.

The very same driver that I have installed.

Please provide a solution for this issue.

Try the Chipset drivers, see if that is able to help at all.

The chipset drivers seems to have helped a little bit, but the issue still happens.

When I say they helped a little bit, its like a homeless person going to an empty soup kitchen every day, only for it to have soup once a year.

Please Lenovo, make decent drivers for this machine.
