Hello, it has been 2 days since i bought a lenovo y700 15isk, Model Name 80NV, MTM 80NV00CNRI and im having big problems with fans, they run very loud with no reason. When i start up the windows 10, for about 5 minutes it stays very quiet, but when i start using for example youtube or facebook ore something that does not need very much processing power the fans kick in immediatly, and never low down any more. It is very frustrating for me because i didnt exept a laptop of this kind to have this issues. I have tried to install all the drivers, but nothing helped.
I read somewhere that it might be a bios issue but i dont know how to update this bios.
My bios version is CDCN25WW, 9/4/15.
Can anyone please help me, can somebody tell me is this bios version the latest one or it need to be updated.
Can you tell me how to update the bios. Im very confusing now i dont know what to do.

Install a utility to read the CPU and/or board temp.
As temp increases cooling should to keep it below the max. I don't know what has been engineered in this model. As gaming series as well the GPU will add to heat.
Calling Tech Support for a solution once you confirm its not really over heating or rather too hot that it should be that high a fan speed.

I have monitored the temeratures, with realtemp and they stay very low 29-32 degreeCelcius on idle without doing anything, the problem is that they never get back to their very bigining level when they were almost completely silent.
When i first turn on the laptop it is completely silent but after a few minutes of working fans turns on very fast, they low down a little but still noisy and never get to that silent mode again, even when the laptop stays idle for 30 minutes or more the fans keep spining on the same scale.
It may be that sensors are not reading correctly the teperature or it need any hardware update or something i really dont know what to do.
I went to the shop where i bought it but they were very rude, didnt want to talk about this they said, this is normal all the laptops do the same noise bla bla bla. This is not correct because i used to have many laptops before and i know exactly how the fans deal with heat and noise.
Thank you for your reply mate

Most likely a bios fix is required and/or power manager to control it. However, the later is OS dependant and if you run an OS other than current Windows it won't work properlay.
You'll have call and report the problem. If a solution exist already they can resolve it if not only phoning will get the attention needed. There are a few earlier models in the T seriest 410 & 420 which had horrible fan issues and go a patch but did not totally make it normal.
A lot depends on the parts used to build the cooling system.

Select the SUPPORT box above and enter in the Exact build number of the Y700 you have. Be 200% certain.
Look for the BIOS version in the list and see the date it was released. If its less than a year you likely don't have it other cheek what is currently installed.
I would do a fresh restart before doing anything such as updating to avoid issue during the update. If in doubt call tech support for guidence.

Something i forgot to mention early, When i purchased my lenovo y700 it does not had any windows installed it has only DOS, and i prepared a bootable USB with windows 10 pro x64, i installed it in the Legacy Mode not UEFI. I dont remeber if Legacy Mode was chosen by default or i changed it. Can this cause the problem with fans I'm doing a clean install in UEFI Mode to see if this is causing the problem.
