Lenovo legion Y730 refresh rate stuck with 144hz

2019-07-21, 5:11 AM

I'm unable to lower my screen refresh rate from 144hz. All of the modules have 144hz refresh rate.

I have latest driver and current NVIDIA driver, which does not support NVIDIA control panel (so I can't lower refresh rate it there either).

Is there a way to lower my screen refresh rate on this laptop?

Hi marekB,

its not possible to change the refresh rate of the panel, that is its native and only refresh rate. Its the same on the Y740 and was the same on its predecessors too (Y920, Y910). If the display would support a lower refresh rate, it would be listed under the monitor settings from your first screenshot.

Best regards,

Does voltage decrease on battery power and voltage increase on power adapter charging? Please check in lenovo vantage battary section. Mine is 13.19V on power adapter charging mode and decrease to 10.6 on battery mode. Is it normal or antmy defect?
