Hello Lenovo Forums,
I am trying to install Windows 10 on my SM951 256GB m.2 ssd. Unfortunately, while it is recognized as a drive in windows, and in the bios, it is not considered a bootable device. When installing windows, it goes directly on the current c://. What am I doing wrong?

During installation select custom install, identify the M.2 drive, delete partition, recreate partition and proceed to install windows on it, verify that the M.2 is seleted.
Remove HDD cable so windows installation only see the M.2
Hope this help.

Disconnect your HHD, leaving the SSD plugged in. in BIOS, secure boot off, legacy on, then install. its worked for me so far. One page said you could change it back afterwards, but no, no you cannot. have to leave it that way.

The SM951 has AHCI and NVMe series.
Link to NVMe :
Can you please tell your serial number of SSD you installed ?
