Re: Migrating OS to ssd (y520)

Hi Moroz123,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Fellow community members as discussed here and here tried different cloning tools that manage to clone the image for their upgrade. They are several to choose from aside from the tool that maybe with the SSD like Macrium reflect, easeus and others that you can review.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Re: Migrating OS to ssd (y520)

To migrate OS to Samsung SSD, you can use Samsung Data Migration which is provided by Samsung to help users migrate the operating system, application software, as well as user data to Samsung SSDs.

Re: Migrating OS to ssd (y520)

I used macrium reflect for my M.2 EVO Samsung.  Copied everything from my original 1tb HDD to the ssd in about 20 minutes.  Then i formatted the original HDD to be used as file storage.
