PC Stuck @ Preparing Automatic Repair screen,etc/ Please help

2020-09-24, 0:55 AM

hi

I’m not too savvy with computers

But my pc is having trouble

everytime I turn it on..

the screen shows a windows error screen where the message states

” your device has run into a problem,we ll restart it for you “

then it will restart and another screen will come on showing the legion logo ..,followed by “ preparing automatic repair”

but when it shows that screen..?..

it shows it with no loading sign...

and it’ll even stay frozen like that for hours..cuz I even tried

so then...

if I continue to repeat these steps..eventually it’ll show the option to “restart  or advanced options”

so then if I choose ‘ advanced options ‘ -for anything that has to do with ,resetting or restoring windows to an older version...

which was what my next step was anyway

So then, when I get close to making that happen...

It says I must sign into my account first

I cannot sign into my Microsoft account on the PC due to my losing the password
[ being that I never hqad to use that password ]
because I was always signed in with the quick sign in set up.

So this is why I dont know the password off hand..if your wondering.

So then I went ahead and finally was able to access the email for that lost password,...?

and while doing so.,I changed the password to a new one

but now that’s not working neither...cuz it says I need to use the last password I used on this device/pc

so there’s my dilemma in a nut shell

I cannot sign in due to this

can anyone please help ?

thank you
