I purchased a Lenovo Legion May 2019
It seems to be running well (some loud fan now and then)
I tried running Lenovo Vantage Tests
It always fails with:
PCI Express fail
Looking into device manager, system logs, windows logs.
This doesn't seem to be an issue.
The test is asking me to open a ticket to replace the PC if warranted.
What does this result code refer to?
I am a Computer Architecture Engineer, so it's ok to go deep into Computer PCI-e complications.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Most of those reported WPE0000100001 within the Community would relate to false positive report specially to those new machines specially if there is really no issues encountered. It may also relate to absence of tested device as some features offered by the PCIe slot.
It is usually advised to update the software and re run the test. Some works better uninstalling and reinstalling a newer Vantage version from the MS store.
You can try such steps first and see how it goes.

It seems that another laptop (twin) to this one is having the same ((error code))
This tells me that the test is expecting something not available on those Laptops probably.
